The French Painters Steps  are for decorative use only and not recommended for use as steps. They  fold flat for storage and come ready assembled.  All hinges are solid brass and screws are  either brass or Bright zinc plated steel for a long life.   Choice of 4 colours : Albion Cream;  Abbey Stone,  Blue Ice or Bramley Green.
